Not surprised. In some places it is illegal to collect rainwater. Others you cannot have a garden in certain residential areas. It is all about control... controlling you.

It would seem that not having a garden in residental areas would make some sense.

A friend from Fla read that their aim is to charge you what you normally pay for electricity even if you have a solar system installed.
Gosh, a whole solar system? ;)

Very concerning. We live in a small town in the Midwest, have a decent size garden- we freeze and can every year. However, in our town, owning chickens is prohibited. Even if you keep it clean and out of sight. I can sometimes understand why in that case but still....the chickens in a residential area I can understand but I've heard some places want to outlaw growing your own food.

Is this in america? Only in america....and they call it the land of the free! What a joke.

America has not been a free country for decades, most Americans judge freedom by their freedom to indulge so they keep the toys, amusements and vices going until such time that the trap can be sprung, then it will be absolute and complete control and these people who think they are going to be free to return to the days of the pioneers are in for a big surprise.

In the new America you will be compliant dependant and controlled and there will be no options.

I used to work at a company a few years ago, they began to put the phrase"total compliance" in their mission statement, when I ask what it meant thinking it was about government regulation I was told it includes that but it also includes total compliance with all social norms as defined by the current culture to include the acceptance of their employees in order to be employed.....not hard to believe that there will come a time when some people will not be allowed to either buy or sell.

Yep maybe that's what's meant by the Mark of the Beast, you don't agree with said social norms than you don't get employed, you don't eat, buy or sell, get health insurance, ect.

Why? Gardens add to property values.
My idea of gardens are the kind my grandparents have every year. Not huge, but large enough that people in the city could not have enough land to grow that much. Put it this way, as it relates to summer crops they grow much of what they eat for the entire year you do not have the land for that in the city or sururns unless they agree to have a community garden.
