Hello,I'm new here to ChrstianForums, and I just wanted to introduce myself and hopefully make a few friends.
My name is Kristina, and i'm just recently finding my faith, and I can't express the feeling to have found a christian support group for me.
I'm 22 with Bipolar II disorder, and Borderline Personality disorder. That's a lot for anyone to deal with, let alone family and friends, and mine have been great. My fiancee of 3 years has been wonderful, he gpes to my visits with me every other appointment, one visit I go to alone, and talk one on one with py psychiatrist, the next he and I go as a couple, and just recently my family has grown to understand how this affects me, and has started researching and learning about my disorders.
It's good to finally find a support group that will both be supportive in my growing faith, and also to know I am not alone.
It's nice meeting you beforehand!

I went back to live with my mother and got on SSI (Social Supplemental Income). Not really the life I anticipated for myself, but it is quiet and peaceful. (I am taking my meds, which help immensely.) Also, having so much spare time has given me the opportunity to have set times for prayer every day; serve as a catechist, lector and Eucharistic minister at church; and to become a Lay Carmelite (I'm Catholic).
