Professor McGonnagol watched as Dumbledore pulled Zaerr into the back corner of the hall and started whispering in hushed tones. She knew that he was not a normal teacher, but she just hoped that the students wouldn’t find out about his past. Dumbledore knows what he’s doing. She thought, praying that she could convince herself of that.

Elizabeth, completely ignorant to the strange commotion at the staff table, was humming to herself as she followed the rest of her house to their common room. After making sure everything was set in her fourth year dorm room, she headed down to the common room and snuggled into one of its big, comfty chairs.

While staring into the fire she realized that something didn't seem completely right; almost as if something was askew. She just decided that it was the fact that she was one out of four people left in the common room so the eerie silence was the only thing that didn't seem right. I better head up to my dorm and go to sleep before I nod off on the couch.

Putting all his stuff away in the dorm Grail walks down to one of the small paintings in the toilets, pointing his wand at it. "I intend to journey through the school so shrink me down & pull me in." Suddenly Grail starts to shrink and is pulled into the painting. Running Grail heads for the Ravenclaw common room, when he reaches it he looks around from inside the painting for the others he just met.

Willing himself slightly bigger, Grail settles down in the painting & then flicks his wand changing his robe to Ravenclaw colours.

William got up and followed Elizabeth to the ravenclaw common room. He followed the rest of the 1st year boys to their new dorm room. William glanced around the room. There was five poster beds with blue curtians and in front of the beds were the boys' chest that had already been brought up. William picked the bed closest to the window. When he turned around he saw that all the other boys were asleep already. He quietly open the door and walked down the stairs. In the common room he found a very tired Elizabeth.

"What'ch(sp?) ya doing?"

Thinking that she was alone, Elizabeth was startled by a voice. She turned slightly to her left when she noticed that William had joined her in the common room. "Oh, hey William, just staring into the fire place and, well, thinking," she said with a tired looking smile. "Nothing spectacular, I know, but it just seems to calm me at the end of the day, and can easily put me to sleep." This time, her smile grew as she thought about how tired she really was, but she enjoyed the new company. "So, tell me, how do you like your-" her words were cut short when she noticed a strange movement in one of the pictures on the wall. Noticing that it was just a picture of a ravenclaw student, she dismissed the idea that something strange was going on and continued her question to William. "Sorry, so, how do you like your new room?" She smiled at him once more, trying to forget the strange feelings that were crowding her brain.

William also noticed the picture was moving, but unlike Elizabeth he had no idea that pictures could move. He, a little jumpy from the shock replied,

"Its......really nice my bed is next to the window, so i can see the lake."

"That's good, you ended up getting the best bed in the whole dorm..." She noticed his jumpy-ness, but tried to excuse it. "Sorry, but I think I'd better head to bed. I'm seeing and hearing things that aren't even there," she sighed and gave him a small smile, "Is that alright?"

Gazing at the others Grail takes a swig of butterbeer from a bottle he'd hidden on him, then getting bored of sitting in the painting he'd commandeered he murmers. "I've found my place, let me forth amongst men & women once more." With a flick of his wand his robes turn back to normal, watching the others amazement he grins. "Well I did say you would see me later remember?"

Elizabeth gasped. "But...how...Grail, how'd did you get in here, in there?" She said, pointing to the picture he was once in. "Now I'm almost positive that the teachers wouldn't teach you how to do that. Where did you learn that?" She said, once again in amazement. So I wasn't going crazy, she thought to herself.

william, completly stunned, just stood there and said nothing.

grail grins "One kid got stuck in there for eight days, until I found in the painting & together we spent the next week trying different things to get her out but after that we used it to visit our friends around the school. Oh she's in slytherian (sp?) if you wanted to know, anyway I can teach you if you want to know how to do that." He offers the others a butterbeer the sits in one of the common room chairs.

"Uh..." she said, still stunned. "Yeah...sure, I'd love to know how to do that." Still trying to understand what just happend, Elizabeth fell back onto one of the common room's couches and just sat there stunned. "Wow, you were stuck in the picture for a week?" She started to come back to reality and process what Grail had actually said. She gave him a question look and sipped her butterbeer.

"Uh..." she said, still stunned. "Yeah...sure, I'd love to know how to do that." Still trying to understand what just happend, Elizabeth fell back onto one of the common room's couches and just sat there stunned. "Wow, you were stuck in the picture for a week?" She started to come back to reality and process what Grail had actually said. She gave him a question look and sipped her butterbeer.

Grail no one of my best mates was in there for a week and anyway it isn't that hard to do watch." grail steps next to the painting again then chants, pointing his wand at it "I intend to journey through the school so shrink me down & pull me in." Suddenly he shrinks into the painting then turning round and looking out he starts again. "I've found my place, let me forth amongst men & women once more." Suddenly he steps from the painting growing as he nears them.

Grail grins. "See not much to it really just som words and a wand movement." He flicks his wand in a cresent moon movement to demonstrate.

"Wow, I never expected it to be so simple," Elizabeth said, surprised. "So, what brings you all the way over here to the Ravenclaw common room? Did you miss us witty Ravenclaw students that much?" She grinned at Grail and then turned to William and gave him a huge smile.

Aileen couln't sleep and thought it would be nice to sit in front of the fire and read a book....she went out of the room trieing not to wake her fellow students....

William watched in awe as Grail hopped back into the picture.

"Wow, I never expected it to be so simple," Elizabeth said, surprised. "So, what brings you all the way over here to the Ravenclaw common room? Did you miss us witty Ravenclaw students that much?" She grinned at Grail and then turned to William and gave him a huge smile.

William smiled back. He looked up the stairs he noticed that someone else was coming down the stairs. But, as she came down his eyes started to droop.

" I'm going to go to bed now" as he sauntered up the stairs and fell into bed.

Grail smiles. "Not all magic is hard but we did edit the spell on the paintings, anyway it's boring over at my house the others are asleep." He turns to watch William leave. "Well sleep tight mate." As he spots someone else he freezes momentarily (sp?).

Aileen stops in the middle of the stair...she had hoped that the common room would be empty but there still were two elder students talking...one of them seemed to have seen her....

Grail turns back to the stairs again. "You can come down if you want, I won't say anything." He looks at the stairs again then back at Elizabeth.
