Muggleborn: Elizabeth's parents are both muggles and had not known of magic until their daughter got her letter. She has one older sister and one younger brother (who may have magical talents, but that is still to be determined.)

Personality: She is extremely smart and is also athletic. She loves to have company though she isn't what someone would call "extremely social". Though she does enjoy reading a good book, quidditch is something that she really loves.

Physical description: Tall, blue eyes, light brown/dirty blonde, mid-shoulder length hair.

House: Ravenclaw and is also Ravenclaw's keeper on their quidditch team. (if it is allowed to say so, I'm not sure if we are going to have try-outs or if it's first come, first serve)

After getting out of the thestrals, Elizabeth watched as the other Hogwarts students gathered in the great hall. She walked in, looking for someone to sit and eat with.

OCC: I really hadn't thought abou quidditch. But, I think I might need to see if there's enough interest in the teams, and if so, there will probably an RP contest, where you'll do a role-play of a quidditch practice......

Minerva McGonagall, professor of transfiguration, stared as Hagrid ushered in the incoming students who slowly walked up the marble staircase.
"Welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!" She said, in her most cheerful tone. "Please follow me into the Great Hall, where you will be sorted into you Houses for the next seven years."
McGonagall turned on her heels, and quickly made her way to the front of the Hall, past all of the returning students who seemed to be waiting anxiously for their new classmates.

William turned and followed Professer McGonagall in to the great hall. William looked up at the ceiling and saw that the ceiling was a storm, just like outside. In the great hall he looked at the four tables. There many people sitting at the tables all watching the newcomers. This made William very nervous. He slowly came up to the front of the room with the rest of the students and looked up at the head table.

Professor McGonagall's shoes tapped on the wood floor as the room slowly got silient. She nodded to Professor Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, who rose from his chair which resided in the middle of the long table where all of the teachers sat.

"Welcome to Hogwarts!" Dumbledore stated, staring at the fear striken faces in front of him. "The sorting will now begin! When your name is called, please come up the the stool and sit down, where the sorting hat will be placed upon your heads." Dumbledore looked at the tattered hat and smiled.

"We shall begin." McGonagall said, "Stella Artimus."

Elizabeth watched as the scared looking first years lined up to get their sorting done. She giggled as she thought about how scared she was when she was in her first year. I hope we get a good number of Ravenclaw's this year, she thought.

McGonagall slowly read the list and watched each first year nervously walk up to the stool. Joey Gunther just hopped off the stool happily after hearing the Sorting Hat yell "RAVENCLAW!" to the hall full of students.
"Next is...... William Fletcher."

Aillen was rather nervous. It was only the second time she was in the wizarding world after all. As always when being nervous she started chewing her fingernails - till she remembered her mother telling her not to do this at the platform. She quickly stopped.....

William slowly aproached the stool and sat down. He could see everyone in the great hall and all eyes were on him. He felt something being placed on top of his head and relized that it was what Professer Dumbledore called the Sorting Hat. A voice was wispering in his ear. Hmmm very loyal and intellingent. I say RAVENCLAW! William jumped off the stool and ran over to the table with his new fellow ravenclaws. He sat down next to an older girl with dirty blonde hair.

Professor McGonagall was almost done with the sorting; she watched as the crowd of first years thinned. Still, some faces showed nervousness, but as she glanced at the first years already sorted, relief and happiness spread over their faces.

She read off the last few names and in bewtween each one, a shout of "HUFFLEPUFF" OR "RAVENCLAW" could be heard. Professor McGonagall walked around the table and sat down in her chair, right next to the Professor Dumbledore.

It was now his turn to speak. He slowly stood up, and watched as the excitement of new students died down, and the hall became silent.

"Just a few announcements before we dig into our wonderful meal." Dumbledore said, looking around at the pleased faces. "As usual, the forrbiden forest is off limits, any student who enters it, and comes out alive, will be punished." Dumbledore smiled as he watched the new students' faces give fearful looks at Dumbledore. "On a lighter note, we will be having a winter ball. So please, get to know your fellow students. Tuck in!" Dumbledore sat down as the marvelous feast magically appeared.

Aileen was sitting at the table happily -the last meal she had was some sandwich in the train and she was feeling rather hungry....

The sorting hadn't been as frightening as it looked - just wear that old hat and then it would shout the name of your house. She had ended up being in Ravenclaw....

And then the announcment: a WINTER BALL

They had had something like that back in her Muggle school and she really had enjoyed it...

William did not hear what professer dumbledore say as he was too busy thinking about food. He watched as a feast appeared in front of him. At the words "Tuck in" william grabbed as much food as his plate could hold and dug in.

Halfway through their amazing first feast, Elizabeth turned to a young first year who had sat next to her. He seemed to be enjoying himself while stuffing his face but she decided to ask him his name anyway. "So, what's your name?"

William stopped stuffing the food into his mouth and looked up at the girl.

"William....What's is yours?" he said slowly.

Hagrid stopped eating for a moment and looked up. he saw all of the students, enjoying their food and chatting away with each other. It made him feel good to know that everyone was happy.

William stopped stuffing the food into his mouth and looked up at the girl.

"William....What's is yours?" he said slowly.

"Oh, sorry, it's Elizabeth, Elizabeth Torton. So, how do you like Hogwarts so far?" She turned back to the William and gave him a huge smile.

"Its really cool! And the food is awesome!" he replied with a goofy grin.
