HMM has anyone every have this happen to them before???

Hi I don't know if this topic belong here or not but i was wondering about this, since i had this happen. Has anyone every have somone (it could be online or in person) say that they liked you but was only joking and kidding around with ya, but then later you find out that they were only joking and u was falling for them or was starting to like them but end up getting your feelings hurt. because you found out that they already had a gf or liked somone else, and they were only trying to be nice to ya or pity you?? hopefully this made sense if not i can try to make it make more sense, but i was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them before and what did they do about it?? becaue this happen to me recently.

No, but I had a boy in eighth grade that was 'popular' so called break up with his girlfriend. He asked me out and I was naive and accepted. Well, everyone in my class-even the teacher- was in on the joke but me. He ended up doing it for an end-of-the-year prank, and I was the one that acted like I knew it all along, though it hurt so badly. Don't worry..life throws you curbs..swing the vehicle around 'em and praise God all the way. God bless you.

wow that is sad, Even your teachers knew about that little prank?? that is embrassing, Yeah i got over it but i mean it hurts to know that guy's or sometimes girls can do that to guys. but its going to take me a long time to trust guys though. thanks for the advice and God bless ya too

I have had along the similar thing about the guy saying he liked you and come to find out he didn't really mean it. All I did was find a reason it wouldn't have worked anyways (mine was because it was over the internet) and came to realize that it was for the best. We are currently still friends though. It is amazing however, how people can throw around those 4 lettered words (like, and love) so carelessly. If only they would know how some people still hold true to those words, and take them seriously (hmm...did that make any sense? lol) well, Best of luck, and I'm sorry to hear that it happened.

Yes, that's happened to me. Once was really bad as he was talking marriage to me, whilst seeing another girl and talking marriage to her!

hi everyone thanks for replying to this threat that i l left on here, I was away on vacation ,so i couldnt reply back to any of your post. Thats sad that guys could do that or anyone could do that to somone, and its true, so why do people use love if they dont really mean it.


Wow thats really sad charligirl about that guy talking about marriage to u and to another girl at the same time. I knew somone here that went through that and she was devasted ( I dont know if i spelled that right).
