1. Constantine.

We have a real consecutive count of the kings in Revelation 17:9-11; you don’t, just like preterism. Why are certain emperors dismissed from the count, which destroys the ration interpretation of any real sequence?

Let me recommend a true historicist on the issue: George McCready Price’s book “Time of the End.” He does an excellent expose' on the seven kings from the historicist’s lens.

Tim LaHaye had admitted to those holding to a Pre-Trib rapture that if the rapture is not Pre-Trib, then their hope is a "blasted hope." This lines up perfectly with Jesus' words in Matthew 24 which warns of a Great Falling Away. In this Sunday morning message rom August 19, 2018, Pastor Joe Schimmel speaks about the timing of the rapture and what the scriptures actually reveal about the end times catching away.

Talk about your great cloud of witnesses! Until recently, the majority of Church fathers and historians believed that they were living in the days of Revelation's unfolding. So, how did we come to believe that it's all future? We can actually trace the beginnings of that view from the sixteenth century. Prior to that, the predominant view of Revelation was from the historicist perspective. Today, some people believe all of the prophecies of the book have already been fulfilled. Others are waiting for them to begin. You might just be surprised to find out where the historicist view puts us. Join me, and receive The Blessing for yourself!
