Hi- I am looking to talk to people who have had a negative experience with the Hillsong church- especially if you are in the UK?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I looking into the church which seems above board..nothing out of the ordinary- all churches raise money, sing music etc yet there seems to be so much debate about it as a movement and I want to know if there is actually any evidence like there is with say scientology or if its just people not liking change/new movements\

There actually isn't much debate about Hillsong as a church. Just a few very loud people who scream and yell because Hillsong is a big church and therefore a big target. Their noise provides the illusion of a debate - and lots of the things their critics claim and say are misrepresented at best and sometimes out right false.
Hillsong is theologically Pentacostal and have beliefs as such. If someone disagrees with that doctrine, then they will disagree with them. Their music, however, seldom strays into Pentacostal distinctives and instead stays normally within the essentials that span across other Christian denominations.
FYI, I am not Pentacostal. I attend an Evangelical Free church so I have some definitively different doctrinal views. I've read much criticism of Hillsong and in the end little held water. Not perfect, a few stubbed toes, but at the core I have no concern.
