  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Would these suit the dress? or should I buy some shiny heels?

Sorry for taking over the thread by the way.

Why not just wear that with a wrap and kicking heels?

what is up with all these tights and stuff?

The cold mostly. It's pretty chilly up here at the moment and last time I went I found my knees knocking even when we got inside ^_^ Plus i've got a pretty obvious scar on my left leg which i'd rather not show off, especially in the cold. It gets purple and angry looking XD

Really leaning towards the blue dress, it matches my big blue coat which would enable me to do a dramatic "tada" thing.

And Becksy: No, it is a lovely length. I think it'll look absolutely cracking, after all the ball is the time when you can show the entire campus that you rock :)

Ok. I don't think we do, Xavia do we?

I've never seen any in most mainstream stores ... ebay may have some available in the UK. Might be able to get some in that London though ... i'm tempted to go take a wander down for the weekend and check now XD

You have to watch for sales. You can get some great things things. Lane Bryant goes down to a 12 which is great for curvy women. They have coupons that can take up to 75 off depending on what you spend. Combined with sales you can get some great things. Watch Talbot on line and you can get some great deals. Same with J Jill.
