And true style is not about trend-whoring; it's not about buying a flattering or artistic piece to only wear for one season until other people decide it's 'out.'

Personally, I'd rather rock a pair of statement YSLs, than a pair of very trendy mirroired Louboutins that even Rachel Zoe and her ilk have moved on from.

*Decolettes and Pigalles are one thing. Even the Mad Mary's. But pretending like a pair of mirroired Louboutins is less trendy than a pair of YSL Cages is ridiculous.

Please. I enjoy looking at shoes; calling a pair of shoes 'passe' isn't exactly playing nice, when others are posting past-season DSW brands. Why are 2008 Seychelles ok, but heaven forbid one post a pair of YSL from a past collection?

As far as I know, I was the only one to post the YSL Cage booties. Or cage shoes of any sort.

Would it be okay to make a thread on dresses? I have a wedding to go to next month, but I can't seem to find anything that I like.

Two of my dresses are falling off of me, so I might as well spend the money to by a new one then to alter it. And the other two I've worn to other weddings in the family.

Honestly I am in my 30's and I don't even know how to walk in High Heals, really I don't. I know how to walk in platforms/cloggs, but not heals. I am a major tomboy I guess.

It's so strange because I started off in platforms (in my teens) and could work or walk around at school all day with them like nothing. Now, I can't walk in them to save my life; they're too bulky. I can only wear high heels or wedges.

Have you checked out the Marc Jacobs that have the reversed heels?? I need to find a picture of that but I still haven't figured out how to walk in them. I might have to go to Neiman's and try a pair on.
