High Heels

Most of the time if I see something I like, but it only goes up to say a 16 and is cheap enough i'll buy it and then modify it. Well ... expand it would probably be a better way of putting it. I love, love, love bold prints but so many run their XL as a 14. Ho-hum, get to improve my tailoring skills.

This is oddly my new favourite dress, it's much plainer than what I like and a bit more figure showing that any of the others, but it's nice, relaxed and doesn't scream "look at my neon pink butterflies, look at them". Nice and toned down.

I LOVE that dress so much! I can't ever find bustier/corset tops that fit though (no, neither nor) these days. Some of us ladies have a big rack, for cryin' out loud...

And Karrie, I LOVE the last pic there. I own a couple of those types of blouses, too and they're really flattering on women who have larger chests. Also, to [heck] to people who think curvy women can't wear pencil skirts! When I wear mine, I almost fall in love with myself. Pfffff

Aww.... yeah, some things we just can't seem to pull off. Like bandeau tops. I love them so much, but if I was 12, that might look cute. Now, not so much. It's just not happening.

I might be going to a summer ball held by my uni and was thinking of wearing this (I tried it on and thought it suited me...sorry I have no pics of me wearing it). Opinions?

It's a beautiful dress, very striking colour which should compliment you well. Love the fact that it manages to be eye catching without lots of clumbersome details, a big thumbs up from me

I like that. I would like it a bit longer though about knee length so it would be of a classic length and could go more than one season. I would also wear gold sandles. strappy and high.

The colour is what stood out to me the most: red seems to suit me. I also like the shape and that fact that the neckline isn't too high (I have broad, straight shoulders).

Do you have any ideas on what you will wear?

I'm not sure if every univerisity has a ball. I was pretty surprised to find out that mine is having one.

Nice. I hadn't intended to either, got "bullied" into it as my housemates are graduating. I have absolutely no idea what i'm wearing, was thinking this

with thick tights/leggings and a long sleeved bolero but i'm being drawn to

If there's enough interest most places will have a ball. We usually have a "Freshers" ball, winter ball and then a summer ball but this year we've only had the summer one. Think most places put a lot of pride into their balls :]
