Hiding Icons

eh, I used to have them all hidden; now I don't care one way or another.

What I have issues with is someone not showing their country. We have so many nations represented on the board that it's hard to remember a poster's country if it isn't displayed.

I have my state listed in the location, so I feel like that's enough to let people know where I am.


As far as party icons. I have serious issues with all of the parties. I could use the Indy icon, and have in the past, but I'd rather not.

I edited everything the other day because I'm not sure how often I'm going to be on anyway. And then I started getting PM's by someone I didn't want to have contact with so I shut off my PM's and Visitor board to anyone who is not a friend. I also turned off reps. That's why I did.

That sucks you had to close everything like that. I hope you will stay around though.

As someone finding it extremely difficult to even get a work visa to be allowed to stay in the US...can you hand me over your citizenship? I'll teach you a few words in a language you'll never use in exchange.

Comrade, this tells me that you haven't been out of the city much.

The city and surrounding is like a paradise compared to those people when you start going west or south. Strangely enough when you go all the way west though, things are good. One of those strange things about this country.

If people want to hide stuff, it's their choice. Although it is a little strange at times to be having a back and forth with a genderless ageless name of unknown location that's been here for a decade or something. I start to wonder who they are...

The only thing I don't have posted is my political because I don't have a party and the gold Indy is just hideous and I got sick of looking at it. I do occasionally mess around with my faith icon. I went back to plain Christian a few days ago.

I hide the icons because I think that those things should not matter when I am talking about faith. I came here to have some Christian company and to learn more about Christianity in other countries. I don't think that age and gender are important in those things. I turned on my country because I want people to understand me. I think it must be easy to know that I am not good at English. Actually I don't care if somebody knows my age. In Japan, it is very common thing to share ages with the other people. It helps us know how to respect someone. The reason I do not show my age is I want to have my idea be the thing that people can judge it by, and not the other things.
