CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

umm...what are the requirments to make a character? Like, where is a guideline so I can make a character? Sorry for all the trouble....

On here, christianforums, rpgs, role laying games, are called threads. Hidden Embers-that's an rpg, a thread. This is an ooc thread. Out of Character notes thread.

the name of the story you will be using the character for Zee. Like this would be for 'Hidden Embers' We converse about the story here in the OOC or Out Of Character thread. You can fill out your character sheet and then you post your character in the Character Forum. That way we can all see it and reference it as we write.

umm....maybe I'm not cut out for this.....I'm not on very much and I don't think I can commit to a Role-play thread.....thank you all for being so kind to me. I might be back when I get a little more time.

Hey, I know how you feel....when I got on here for the first time I felt out of place because everyone was better than me.... But, as I rped with them, I learned how to write better. You get better with practice! As they say, Practice Makes great!

Oh come on... Hidden Embers may not be a very good one for you to try and start off in, but you can still start off small. Shoot, if I tried to join a thread like HE when I first started, I'd have frikin DIED! Really, find an RP that's more simple, and you ought to have a pretty easy time. Heck, I mean, you type in complete sentences! That's a plus already!

And to be honest, it's just a hobby I have, not a dedication. I thank you from the deepest place in my heart for trying, but I really don't fit in here. I'm sorry.

Zee everyone has to start somewhere. We are all willing to help you. It was confusing when I first got to CF too and I had been rping and writing for many years! LOL Anyway do what you feel is best but you have people in this thread that will help you. We don't bite... well Dave does but...we are trying to break him of it... *laugh*
