CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Alright BigC, here's what you missed in a nutshell:
The Vatican has more men in the area, but I think you knew that.
Katrina and Oscar have set up a safehouse/base of operations, which they're working on Vampire-proofing.
Jack's without orders now, because Greg's been done in.
He went after Katrina, was without a way of escaping, and she ultimately killed him with help from Nico. He may yet have a way of doing something useful while working/staying with the Americans, though, so PM me if you have any questions or suggestions.

No BigC, you would need to get DramaKing's express written permission. This is HIS idea and he deserves all the credit.
You would then the permission of each writer to use their character, etc. Believe me BigC, being plagiarized is NO fun. I have had a very recent experience with discovering the theft of my artwork and I have to tell you it really ruined my day...
Never, never use anything anyone else has written or created without their express permission and acknowledgment of their work.
(It's also illegal and you can get into trouble with the authorities.) You can be creative on your own.

BigC, what if you did a story based on Hidden Embers and make it very similar. You can make the characters similar too without using the real ones. That way no one would feel bad or anything. Of course, you still have to get permission from Dramaking first. Right, guys?

He can make any vampire-hunter story with church and international characters in it, if he so desires. It, like HE, will probably never be popular, never be published, and probably be dismissed as a bunch of teens or teens at heart being emo and playing vamps, or fanatics being holy warriors, or both. Not to be discouraging or anything.

Right you can use similar ideas altering them to make them your own however to copy it outright requires permission. For example the person who stole my artwork could have drawn their OWN drawing perhaps based on mine but to take my image and place their name on it as the artist is fraud. *sigh*

Rather late for that... they have had my work up on Elfwood for seven years unknown to me. I just HAPPENED to be perusing galleries when I ran onto my work with her name on it. Her e-mail address didn't work so I have no way to address the situation. *sigh*
One consolation I suppose is to know that she got a lot of very nice compliments on MY work. *shrug* I however can draw another... she, cannot....

Well... remember the scene I mentioned that I never got around to doing, about Coronada going out on the hunt and interrogating someone? PM me if you'd be interested in RPing anyone in that. We could get Isolde in on it, or you can take on whoever Coro's after. Just throwing out an idea on where to take this.

I know, I have to ask dramaking's permission, ask all of the people that are taking part of the rpg and put in special thanks to the people that made it possible. See, I know plagiarizing is illegal, from the various classes that I took.
