CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I typed for a long while putting in my testimony, but failed to see the 1000 character limit... I'm such a goober! 
So when I looked at my homepage, well it cut it off and made no sense at all. So I went back and hacked it up so it would fit. My best friend (same one I lived with as a teen) has told me I should write a book. I don't really know if my story is really book material. I do know that I have spoken to small groups and individuals who God touched through my story. I'm not a real good writer either, I failed to get my college degree because of english and literature.
Is there a place I could post more of my story? I thought about blogging, but don't really have anything happen daily enough to write about and I have never done it so it actually creeps me out a bit:o .
Oh and thank all of you for the warm welcome! I've been getting private messages too, and people have given me blessings. Is the blessings a point system of some sorts? I did notice I couldn't have a signature line and stuff until I had so many points, is that what these are for?

Oh thank you lilmissmontana. I will read it right away. I posted a profile picture of me and my son, and I guess I used up 150 points. I guess that is ok. I don't have many pictures of me and this one is getting old but I haven't changed much. My son though is a different story!

Thank you for asking God for blessing on for my family. My husband has passed away and is with the Lord today... I know I put wedding rings in my thingy, as I feel I am still married. God has not released me to be with anyone else. It is just me and my son, and he is alot like his daddy!
I could use some prayer, I went to my doctor today and I am going to have to have another surgery on my legs. Scar tissue has built up from the accident and previous surgeries and is reducing blood flow. The worse is my left leg but is also doing it somewhat in my right.
I don't have a date of when the surgery will be yet. My big thing is this really scares my son. He doesn't do well when I am away since his daddy died. He is very clingy and easily scared, but not old enough to really process what is going on either.
I know God's hand is on me, and He could heal me before the surgery but I trust that if he has me go under the knife again that it will be to somehow bring him glory. Since the doctor said that the reduction of blood flow is reaching a dangerous level, I am guessing I will be scheduled for next week sometime.

I pray also for His healing for you,as you face this further surgery. We pray also for your son that God will bring comfort and peace to his heart and mind in every situation.
God's Word says,'Fear not,for I have redeemed you..you are mine. When you pass through the waters,I will be with you and when you pass through the rivers,they will not sweep over you'.
( Isaiah 43:1-2)
