My name is Brent Papineau and I wanted to introduce myself. I am 48, twice divorced and now very happily married, father of 2 children and 2 fur babby Shih-Tzus, past worship musician, ex-Nabisco cookie man, blogger, and now finishing my first devotional book.
I would love to connect and get to know you and I would like to make myself available to those that would like to discuss the issues they have pertaining to divorce. I do have a rule though: I do not give one-on-one advice nor do private messaging. My wife and I do ministry together and we want to be able to keep each other accountable while also being able to offer help together as needed.
I know for women, it may be hard to discuss things with a guy, but my wife and I have provided years of help leading the DivorceCare Ministry curriculum through our church small groups ministry as well as other leadership positions within the worship team, church online, and other church ministry focus groups.
I don't say this to toot my own horn. I say it to let you know, I have been to hell and back a couple of times, and I know that Jesus is the one and only answer to true healing and wholeness.
My main desire in reaching out to this forum is to offer myself as a resource to help those struggling and to provide encouragement and hope by letting God use me to help others.
If you want to connect on Facebook, just search my name and I live in Jacksonville, FL.
Thanks everyone. Looking forward to chatting with you all. Be blessed!!
