Hi all....looks like I'm going to be losing my dad soon

Hi everyone...i know I've been scarse of late, been struggling with staying on C.F. in light of the current political climate and the way many Christians embrace it. But TLT kind of feels a bit like family, and i wanted to sharethat it looks like my father is dying....he's been ill for many years and on a slow slide, but now it looks like it won't be much longer. I'm going to Denver Saturday to see him and my mom.

Sorry to hear that, what is your dad diagnosed with ?

He's had multiple issues for a long time, and has required full time care of late, but the issue recently is that his problems eating...he aspirates some of his food, led to pneumonia. He's also lost a ton of weight, more so in the last few months

So sorry that you and your dad will be saying your final goodbyes on earth. However painful it is, it is also a time of precious memories, healing, reconciliation, love, a time to cherish. I will pray for you, your dad, and your family.
