  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've been looking for a new christian website for a while, and well, this one seems full of people!

Ok, a little bit about me...

My name's Miranda, I'm 21 years old and live in Queensland, Australia. I'm not studying, just working. At the moment, I'm working in a Liquor Store. Of course, it's not my dream job, lol, and I don't plan to be there for too much longer.
Ummm, what else... I'm in between churches at the moment. The one I was going to wasn't very welcoming to me, personally, and I didn't feel like I was a valuable part of the group. So I'm searching for a new place to go.
I haven't been very close to God in a long time, although, I am really trying to rectify that. Hopefully when I find a new church to go to, I'll be able to get into the whole scene again properly.

I think that might be enough for now, I'm sure ya's don't wanna hear my whole life's story, lol!
