Firstly, there is no such thing as an eternal Hell and secondly, unless you are an Isralite living under the old covenant I wouldn't worry about it!
Do the words "Types and Shadows" mean anything to you?
Garments refer to our righteousness or lack there of.
There is only one kind of righteousness as far as God is concerned and that is Christ's.
God says that our good works are as filthy rags to Him and that's because We must have Christ to be acceptable to Him, our good works simply will not do.
Having a garment (covering for sin) made from 2 kinds of yarn would refer to trying to mix the Old and New covenants, you just can't do it and it won't be acceptable to God.
Having Christ as a covering doesn't just mean saying a 10 second sinners prayer though, it does mean that We live a life that is pleasing to God which is good works, the difference is that they aren't our good works if We do, because it is impossible to keep Christ's commandments in the flesh.

This is part of the old law stuff laid down for old-school Hebrews. Unless you're an Orthodox Jew, this doesn't apply to you, leave Leviticus alone and move onto something helpful.

Not true!
Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy and all those other seemingly out of date books are for us, more so than for them, becuse they were only made to do those things so We could understand the significance of them.
1Co 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Mat 13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
It is impossible to understand the new testament teachings without the old testament and it is impossible to understand the old testament without Christ, He is the word of God.

I recommend studying on the Covenantle parable of the "rich-man/lazarus" in Luke 16 and that may help uncover that mysterious symbolic "lake of fire" in Revelation.
