If you rewatch the part where he strangles her unconcious, he is not going in her and then up to her throat. Micah told him that she "had a secret too", meaning her powers, and he obviously seen her super strength. I think he reached into her and grabbed the "good" Niki and knocked her out so that he could get away from "Jessica", as she is obviously way stronger than him. Just rewatch it,, you'll see what I mean ;)

Whoa!

So... is Nikki dead? Or just knocked out?

That's a pretty cool ability that DL has.

Seems to me that Hiro and Ando found themselves in the bathroom right in time.

If you go to a TV schedule and check the summary for next weeks show, it is obvious if Niki is dead or alive.
Distraught Niki reveals her recent personal struggles to a friend; Matt assists Audrey's investigation into a bizarre murder; Hiro questions his heroism; Nathan and his wife strategize to win the congressional election.

I had the impression that the men at the poker game Hiro and Ando were the ones DL was looking for and that they were hiding in the bathroom when Niki/Jessica killed the men. Anyone else think this?

As for Claire's father, I'm not convinced that he is "evil". He does not appear to be working with Sylar. Instead, it seems he is, at the moment, merely researching who the "heroes" are and what abilities they have. To me it seems more likely that he is some type of government investigator (or private, not sure) and that they are probably looking for the opportunity and ways they can use the "heroes". Whatever group it is seems to be very well funded and organized and, while they are kidnapping the "heroes" to examine them, do not appear to be harming them.

By contrast, Sylar is evil and actively murdering people but seems to be acting purely for his own profit. And, from the piece of the painting that Peter completed, it would appear that it is Sylar that (per the artist's visions of the future) kills Claire. From the painting it appears that the top of Claire's head is gone and her brain removed -- just like Sylar's other victims.

Any thoughts?

Yes, they were the guys that DL was looking for. And apparently they knew Niki/Jessica quite well. Did you hear them when Hiro and Ando were in the bathroom. They said, "What is she doing here?" Right before all the noise and stuff... :) She is not a very nice person, is she??? Glad that Hiro and Ando did NOT run into her!

Totally agree about HRG (Horn Rimmed Glasses/Mr. Bennett).

Last night's episode was SO good and I can't wait for next weeks episode!

Nikki is coolies, but her other part is just ick. I don't care for her. It seems like she's kinda trying to ruin Nikki's life.

Hiro is too cool. He's adorable and he's definately grown on me.

I feel bad for Claire because her adopted dad is kind of a psycho. I can't believe what he did about her wanting to meet her parents. It's sick.

No, MBG (Mysterious Black Guy) is not Sylar, and neither is Mr. Bennett. :D

How do you know that Mr. Bennett isnt Sylar? Is it a gut feeling, was there something on the show that stated that or did you read it somewhere?
If Mr. Bennett does indeed work for Sylar, don't you wonder what powers he (Bennett) is harboring?

Seems to me that Mr. Bennett can find himself in the strangest places at the most convenient times.

I wonder if there's some kind of power that can explain why he can be in Las Vegas at one moment chasing down Nathan Petrelli, and then in another city wiping out a cops memory, and then back at home in Texas, with his daughter.

Well, it's a mix of all I guess. :) I know that in the show, Sylar looked alot different, and sounded alot different (when his message was on Chandra Suresh's answering machine). Also in Sylar's apartment, there was a bulletin board with alot of stuff about Sylar on it, like his birth announcement and stuff. And pictures of him as an alter boy, which would explain why all the religious scrawling on his wall. Sylar is apparently a very sick and twisted person who has a power lust, but can't control himself. I also wonder why he wants that little girl that Matt rescued? (just an afterthought.. :) ) I also go to the NBC official Heroes site and message boards alot also. :)

Just a businessman with ALOT of frequent flyer miles! :D:D I think maybe he has his own private jet, for business purposes. I still think he is one of the good guys, but they like playing up the mystery of it to keep everyone guessing. I think if he was a bad guy, he wouldn't be so concerned for his daughter, he woulda killed the Quarterback, but instead just erased his memory so he could make better choices, and he coulda shot Nathan, but didn't, and didn't harm Matt. Just my humble opinion...

I just rewatched it on NBC, and he does reach up through and grab her throat, it zooms in on her with his hand around her throat, and zooms out and you can see the outline of where his hand goes up through.

I don't understand what everyone is talking about with the friendly neighbor

Man this is a very good show. I love it. A hour is just not enough.:(
The boy and mother story is very interesting, I hope she can control the other part of her.

Tell me about it. This has got to be one of the best shows on TV right now. BTW, did you all see the "mark" on the radiation dude and Mark's (dude who can read thoughts) necks? I'm thinking that each individual who has powers must have this mark.

Another sweet show!
