A change was made in December to the rules of both the TLT and SOTE forums to allow for threads that disagree with the teachings or positions of the Church. Here is how it reads in the Statement of Purpose:
"This area allows for what would normally be considered by Rome dissent from the teachings the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. The limit on this would be where the conversation violates other CF rules. If you are looking for the Catholic area that posts in accordance with Rome please visit One Bread One Body"
Here is a link to the original announcement and discussion on OBOB about this:

The usual suspects at Salt of the Earth (SOTE) are already heavily into this new policy, with threads stating that Benedict is the true pope, and that Pope Francis is a heretic, the Anti-Christ, or is being controlled/influenced by Satan. To them schism is imminent and the Church is involved in a "civil war". But there has been nary a ripple in the firmament here at TLT. Which is surprising since the people on this forum are supposed to be the real radicals in conflict with the Church, through theology or practices. And not really “good Catholics”, according to a certain view.
I guess we need to get some members here to start threads questioning the teachings of the Church and promoting radical agendas. Any takers? Somebody out there who can promote the “liberal” position?
I have really searched my brain for something to post, and the best I could come up with is a thread opposing the Church’s teaching authority on birth control? But too late, that horse escaped the barn about a half century ago. But what about women Deacons? Married priests? Female priests? I know that is far out, but what about starting by ordaining some nuns as deacons? And considering married deacons for the priesthood? Or do we dump the whole idea of a priest with “supernatural” powers and go back to the biblical idea of many kinds of "members" with different talents and faculties, rather than just one person who has all power over us and all responsibility?
How about a more horizontal hierarchical decision making process, perhaps allowing priests and (heaven forbid) lay people to participate in the selection of bishops? How about more lay authority on the parish level? Whose parish is it, anyway?
Even something as basic and current as who can receive communion? Are the rules for that really ordained by God or the inventions of men? Is marriage really a sacrament given to us by God at the beginning, or something that developed and only became a required sacrament of the Church in the 2nd millennium?
There are all kinds of possibilities for discussion, some just on the edge, and a few over the edge. I, for one, would like to see some discussion on all of these topics, and others as well. What do you think?
