I hated kids shows. I never wanted to watch Captain Kangaroo or Sesame Street. I always argued for SWAT. We were allowed to watch the afternoon lineup - Andy Griffith, Gilligan's Island, Munsters, Gomer Pyle USMC, and any sports stuff, especially couples ice skating.

This week on Mister Rogers they showed some episodes from the late 70's. He spent 3 entire episodes on the "Incredible Hulk" TV show. Day 1 he showed photo's of Bixby and Ferrigno. Day 2 he interviewed Bixby and Ferrigno on the set (which was a movie studio in the "neighborhood"). Day 3 more interviews, plus footage of Ferrigno in the makeup chair.

He was very thorough in explaining to children that the Hulk was make believe.
