here's a pointless thread: Programs Viewed in Childhood

I hated kids shows. I never wanted to watch Captain Kangaroo or Sesame Street. I always argued for SWAT. We were allowed to watch the afternoon lineup - Andy Griffith, Gilligan's Island, Munsters, Gomer Pyle USMC, and any sports stuff, especially couples ice skating. :)

I am thinking about shows I watched being 13 and younger:

Mr. Rogers
Romper Room
Friendly Giant
Mr. Dressup
You Can't do that on Television
A Team
Hart to Hart
Fraggle Rock
The Racoons
Muppet Show
Married With Children
Star Trek Next Generation
Reading Rainbow
Care Bears
Sesame Street
Pee Wee's Playhouse
Diffrent Strokes
Three's Company

It seems like I watched a lot of shows, but I still was quite an active child. :)

This week on Mister Rogers they showed some episodes from the late 70's. He spent 3 entire episodes on the "Incredible Hulk" TV show. Day 1 he showed photo's of Bixby and Ferrigno. Day 2 he interviewed Bixby and Ferrigno on the set (which was a movie studio in the "neighborhood"). Day 3 more interviews, plus footage of Ferrigno in the makeup chair.

He was very thorough in explaining to children that the Hulk was make believe.
