  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello my brothers and sisters, this is a late time to type but I'm just so touched and spirit filled right now that I just have to type my experience I just had. I was reading the bible and learing about baptism in the holy spirit and reading about Jesus. I suddenly started to honestly and truthfully believe in the bible and God. I know I typed I asked for forgiveness in another thread but I honestly deep down in my heart didn't have 100% faith..well after reading the bible and learning about things my faith shot to 150% :) I just felt with all my heart this was true I then prayed and asked God to forgive me for I didn't really have faith in the bible and I also asked to be baptized in the Holy Spirit, and I laid down into bed as I laid down in bed I said Devil begone, for I have the armor or God on and it is written that you cannot get through to me while I have the Armor of God on and I said that 2 or 3 times and I started laughing and smiling and my eyes teared up suddenly I was incredibly happy and I really felt pure I thank you all for all who reads this and I hope that this touches someone out there who isn't saved :)

I'm so happy for you True believer. Thanks to Jesus you now believe in Him, and He has delivered you from evil.

I would encourage you to continue to pray and read the Bible. God is active in your life now, and He wants you to be assured that you're saved, and that He will keep you. Since you've accepted Jesus, God also sends you the Spirit, that will be with you every day, and teach you God's will.

And be sure that the devil can't touch you, as you're protected by the All Mighty himself.

I really hope that you're a part of a Christian fellowship, and that you have Christian friends and/or family. Son't hesitate to share this with other Christians - they'll encourage you, and pray for you.

And remember; this is your time, God will strenghten you now, if you seek Him with your whole heart. God has a very special plan for your life - unique and fitted to your natural skills..

so share it and live it brother in Christ
