Now come the wriggles by some smart speech writer who has suddenly discovered that 'wouldn't' instead of 'would' will sort the problem. But why so long to 'find' this error?

It will be interesting to see, now, how Putin will respond to this 180 degree turn by Mr. Trump, that all but accuses Putin of interfering in US elections.

If Mr. Trump really meant 'wouldn't', what had he said to Putin about the need to stop interfering in US internal affairs?

What did Mr. Trump say would happen if Putin continued with cyber attacks?

Someone needs to ask Mr. Trump these questions!
