Hello, everyone. I am a fairly new user to this site so if i’m posting on the wrong board please forgive me. :)

Okay so, you can see from the title I have a little issue. Up in till last week I keep thinking I’ve mortally sinned or did something wrong. I keep thinking I’m a bad person and God won’t forgive me. I’m having bad thoughts and keep thinking I did the unpardonable sin. I feel so guilty, confused, anxious, and sad. Bonus with that I think I’m going to hell. Can someone please help?

If you're worried about it, ... you didn't do it.

If you had really done it, you wouldn't be worried about it.

Try to infuse your mind with God's word.

Find portions of Scripture and memorize them.

Suggestions would be various of the Psalms, Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 5:1-16, John 1:1-21, John 3:1-21, Romans 12:1-21, etc.

Also John 5:24, 1 John 1:9, 1 John 3:1

Ok, just how did you blaspheme the Holy Spirit? Since it can't be done today?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but have you ever had concerns about OCD, or been diagnosed? I ask because what you mention has come up a lot here, and connected with OCD.

Of course it can be done.

Lazybeanz, Blasphemy of the holy Spirit has been twisted around so much by people when it is very clear in the Bible, and I'd suggest you do a search on it, find the only mention of it in the bible, look into that and forget about these other wild definitions taught by hotshot preachers that think they know more than the Bible.

If you still have questions after looking into it, let us know.

It's simply someone calling the work of the Holy Spirit, the work of the devil. that "work" being healings and such, something I very much doubt you have done.

Hi, KennyID’s.

I do not have OCD or am diagnosed with it. When I meant by that specific sin I meant I was having awful thoughts about it and was generally confused about it thinking that I did it.

Hi, LB, yes, the general confusion is definitely understandable for reasons I mentioned.

Did you look into it a little further? Or in short, did you call the work of the Holy spirit, the work of the devil? If not, you're fine.

Hello, LazyBeanz, and welcome to this forum. There is no sin that cannot be washed away by the precious blood of our Savior. Please don’t believe the lies of the enemy..… seek forgiveness, pray and remove every doubt from your mind. I’m praying that our Heavenly Father will reveal His infinite love and amazing grace to you in a powerful way and draw you closer to Himself in the days ahead.

Many people deal with fears of the unpardonable sin. They talk about it a lot on here under forums/mental health/OCD. They call it Religious OCD or Scrupulosity. Just know if you hearing voices speaking against the Holy Spirit you are NOT alone.
With much prayer, fasting, and getting hands laid on you by Holy Spirit filled people they do go away.
For some it's quick and other years but they do leave.
This link below and help and if you want to private message me and talk more in depth we can.

Thankfully I did not and will NEVER try.

But can’t even using his name in vain be blasphemy or simply saying “he’s not real” blasphemy? I thought there were more forms of it.

Sure, we can blaspheme, but there is only one blasphemy that is the unforgivable sin. But if your saying there are more than the one that is the unforgivable sin, I can only find one instance of that in the bible, and that is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit here:

Mark 3:28-30: "Truly I tell you, all sins and blasphemes will be forgiven for the sons of men. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin. He said this because they [the Pharisees] were saying, 'He has an evil spirit'."

If you can point me to others in the bible, I'll gladly admit they are that.

Hold on so the one you mentioned previously about “calling it the work of the devil” was the only one that you could do?

The man whose precious blood you refer too says differently. If that is what you truly believe, it's just more man made untruths.

It doesn't bother me you call me/others that teach it is unforgivable the enemy, but on the same token I hope you don't take it personally that what you are telling this person is a sugar coated lie. I think the OP knows better, but nevertheless, I'd be very careful saying something as straightforward as this is something other than what the bible/Jesus is very specific about.

Please read the scripture I quoted on that in my last post, or even just the following part of it here...

But whoever blasphemes against the will never be forgiven, but is guilty of an eternal sin.

Now explain how that does not mean that particular sin will never be forgiven? We need others to know the truth, that way they can be aware, we tell them otherwise, and they do the sin because someone told them it was not unforgivable, and how are we going to feel then about the eventual problems that causes them? Not to mention our changing the bible, something we all know not to do.

You'll need to cite the quote of me saying that about "the work of the devil" so I can address it, maybe I did, but I don't recall saying that.
