  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

That's perfectly natural Snowy! Right now the kitten would be hiding, spitting, hissing and fizzing all place, and that's because it isn't used to the dog yet. That's all. Just let them be together a little bit of time. Then take the kitten out. Let the kitten sit on the back of a couch and be able to see the dog, but, not be able to touch it. And, I know dogs can be over exuberant when they see a new friend pet, don't worry, he/she will soon settle down as they get used to one another. Good luck and blessings!!

Cats have very different temperaments than dogs; they tend to be very territorial. Try this: remove the cat from the premises if at all possible for a time. Maybe a couple of weeks; a bit longer if you can manage it and if you have a friend or relative who will hold the animal. Then, after the dog is established at the home, try reintroducing that cat. Cats are more likely to accept other animals if the cat is the newcomer.
