Help!?

I have windows 98 2nd edition and internet explorer.  I downloaded updates on Saturday.....and now am having trouble.

Firstly......when I go through yahoo search.....nothing comes up for about 5 minutes.....then a blank page comes up and a warning box pops up saying that the command could not be read.  ALSO, now when i go up to tools on Explorer......it jams up.  AND.....now when I shut down.......it's jamming up too telling me that something is not responding.

Anyone have any ideas on what is going on and what I can do to fix it?

I had downloaded a newer version of explorer on Saturday and noticed that since then is when I encountered the problems. I went into add/remove programs and clicked on explorer...whereby I was able to click on repair. It fixed ALL of my problems!

Ah. Basically, then, you reinstalled Interet Explorer.

lol yup.......i was having trouble shutting down only when I had been online......so i knew it had something to do with explorer.
