How do I change my browser back to IE instead of having Yahoo 'run' it?

I think I might.
Its for the work computer, that is why I am hesitant.
It got messed up bc someone used mine during lunch & dl'd a lot!

well if the comuters are unsecured during lunch yime I'd call my i.t. staff, if you'rs supposed to keep them secured,I'd stop letting anyone use my system.

IE, Microsoft do what they can to take over branding of your computer branding. AOL, Juno, MSN, and others do it. I think it should be against the law but I recommend using Opera. It is a better browser and more secure then Firefox.

1. Branding IE is not illegal
2. When there's a hole in Firefox, the patches come out A LOT faster than it comes out for Opera. Firefox is considred to be the most sercure browser. There are articles on this.

hey guys, this definitely isn't a firefox vs. Opera page, there are about ten of those floating around if you want to argue about it.

and as for the OP, they're right, downloading Firefox or Opera would be a great idea. And as for it being a work computer, it really shouldn't be a problem, downloading Firefox or Opera doesn't preclude someone from using Internet Exploiter, it just gives you a better option to use yourself

You always could make Firefox or Opera your default browser and then delete any and all icons for IE so that nobody else either uses it because they think it can't access the Internet or is forced to use the new defaults.
