Help

Hi. I am not sure what to do about things. I need some advice on how to obtain Peace.

I actually posted this thread on another Christian forum but someone told me my problem was being a Catholic and that I cannot accept.

Please read the entire thread before replying here as more things come out that I am deeply ashamed of-especially my last 5 posts or so in that thread.

I wish I could help you with your problems in some way, but this was edited before I got to read it. If you would like advice on obtaining peace, feel free to pm me anytime! I'm not an expert, but I know a thing or two. And, oh yeah- I don't have any problems with Catholics. My whole family is Catholic, and I used to be one, too.

Catholics aren't looked upon too nicely where I live by my friends. It's kinda rude because they are believing in a similar God. At least that's what I see. I'm new to the Christian game you see. God loves you no matter who you are, unless you killed some guy....

bushboy, you know nothing, moron. God loves me, and I've killed people before. I have aquired Forgiveness through my Faith. I thank God that I had the strength to do His Will and protect the world from such people and their poisonous views.

Yep, we're saved by faith, not by works. Doesn't mean that we should keep sinning that grace may increase, though. That's in Romans.

Sorry I didn't meet the right criteria for asking for help. I didn't know where else to go. I thought spamming up to 15 posts would be rude. Turn me away then. I didn't know Christians put a criteria on who needs help and a condition on when you can ask for it.

You want peace ... The Lord Jesus said: (John 14:27) "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Notice He said that HE was giving us HIS peace.

Nobody else can give us His peace. He worked our peace dying for us in Calvary as the real offering for our sin, to satisfy God's righteousness as to our sins, dying for us. God the Father was SATISFIED with the offering of His Son, and He rose up from the dead as having fulfilled all our redemption. So, what do we do? "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31). "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Tim. 1:5).

It's simply a matter of realizing that you stand as a sinner before Him who said: (Luke 5:32): "I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." And that He also said: "him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37).

Ponder this. Peace you will never find from men or any institution. Not even from the Church of God, which is the fellowship of those that have received God's peace. You will receive it from the Peace Maker, who offers it freely to all that come to Him, the Lord Jesus our loving Saviour.

Thanks but Jesus wouldn't ask me for conditions before listening to me so I will take that as a sign I'm maybe not gonna find compassion here. I gotta go lie down I feel ill.
