I am giving out blessings to anyone who says GOOD things about themselves.

Poor little thread. Several have looked at it, no one has posted.

Alright, I'll start. I'm good with kids.

Someone gave me a huge amount of blessings, so I can be generous here. How about 1,000 blessings if you can think of at least one good thing about yourself?

Hello DT! Math teachers are gifts. They teach not just a skill, but a way to organize thoughts and attack a problem from a logical point of view. They change the way we think.

I am sure you are a great math teacher.

I heard too many negative things when I was little. It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized that most of them were lies. I had to stop the "tapes" which were playing in my mind, and choose to put something else there instead.

It helped to realize that God loves me. I began listing places in Scripture where He talks about us. There are so many--and in all of them He expresses His love for us.

The second list I made was affirmations about myself. For example, I love to draw and paint, and I am good at sculpting.


I realize that it is difficult to talk about yourself. So I am going to change the rules for getting blessings here.
