Help with Testimony...

Hi All.

I recently have committed myself to Christ. Thank you Lord! And now I want to save my sister. I want to give her an inspirational testimony that will knock her off her feet, open her eyes. I wish I could just inspire her with my own experience but my wake up was slow, long, and many years of kindling the flame. So far I have only found c28.com Aurelio F. Barreto III testimony in audio here. Can any of you help me direct me to where I can find such audio testimonies that will help me save my sister? Thank you so much and God Bless you all.

Hi, Sorry I don't know where to find audio, but pray for her and tell her the gospel. The Holy Spirit will do the work in her life if she chooses to believe. The wow is the gospel.

Thank you Tapero for the suggestions and thank you thank you thank you for the prayer. You know how some people if you tell them the Gospel or a testimony to nonbelievers, either they get it or they don't. Some times it takes something tragic to happen for certain people to get it. I feel that my Sister needs the "Wow", not necessarily the tragic but a real eye opener.. or very motivational testimony. Thank you again.

I know what you mean,

I heard the gospel, in a dramatic way at a funeral. I don't even remember what I heard but it had to be bathed with so much prayer and power from the Holy Spirit that I heard it and shortly thereafter came to Christ.

There's a prayer for family available,under pentecostal, Let's have a revival, or somethng like that where you can add your sister's name. Already my mom let me tell her the gospel.. And she's agnostic, really hates to hear about God, but she was so open; it was amazing. Praise God. Well, take care, ganaan

Just remember, when you witness to someone, you are just bringing the message, planting the seed or watering a seed that has already been planted. God is the one who gives the increase. It is the Holy Spirit that will convict a heart of sin and their need of God. Make sure you have prayed diligently for the person you are trying to reach. An inspirational testamony is good, but don't try to play Holy Spirit and pressure her to accept Christ, that is God's job. She must be led by the Holy Spirit.

So far my plan is to give her an audio cd of Aurelio F. Barreto III and have her listen to it. Since I can't find any other audio testimony, I guess I'll just try it. Following that I will give her a bible and a illustrated drawing that I drew for her with a mat and frame around it. It's a special drawing so hopefully she will know how sincere I am. God knows... This is a radio program that you can listen too on the internet that dramatizes peoples testimony weekly.

Its run and owned and opperated by Pacific Garden Mission ,located in Chicago Illionois.

They are a homeless shelter and provide free food ,lodgeing ,medical and dental care ,Job placement training and counseling....as well as counseling and spiritual counseling they have and offer online bible studies as well .

It is a very reputable ministry ! , If you write to them and ask they will give you free booklets with testimonies of Christians,many of whom have been homeless and lived at the shelter.

If you would like more tips on how to wittness to others I can give you some ideas....and so can they even better than I .

I have been saved ,born again, asked Christ into my heart for 24 yrs now and have wittnessed to many.

The best thing to do is be yourself as others have said.

Find something you and your freind have in common and then focus on that for a few minutes then find a way to lead the conversation to God........ect.

If you want feel free to look up my testimony in here , Its entitled "Ashes To Gold " feel free to copy it off the computer and give it to her to read.......thats what it is there for to help and to encourage with the hopes of leading someone to Christ.

Praise the Lord for your conviction! I’d like to help you find a testimony to share with your sister. There is a website called audioverse. If you do a google search, you will quickly find it. I personally know most of the administrators and am truly blessed by the content. Click browse categories, then topics, then testimonies. The testimony is from David Gates, a missionary pilot who God has taught to live by faith. I have heard him personally and find his messages practical and inspiring. Hopefully you and your sister may receive a true blessing from it. I encourage you let your sister see the power of Jesus in you life, in every aspect. Be a 24 hour, nonstop sermon for her to see that God is real and close, not far away, because He is in your heart. Study your Bible for John 5:39 says, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” Remember Joshua 1:9, “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest..”

honestly, with the likes of a brother you, watching her back.. i have no doubt that you have it covered.. just keep on doing what you are doing.. i mean, in time, the Lord will work it all out..

Go on YouTube, and type in died and went to heaven and hell, there are loads of free audio testimonies on there.

I will always pray for you and your sister, do not be afraid pray for your sister.
