Help with debate!

Is your mind open to the possibility that the reason you can't answer the evidence is because you could be wrong about creationism?

Well...I wasnt here when God or for the sake of arguement, The atoms collided. I was taught for years in public school one way, and until recently I thought the Bible supported that..It can be proven through geneology that Adam walked the earth about 6,000 years ago....its simple math...yes its a leap of faith to believe that the Bible is fact...but thats what Im saying.....I belive this way....If there is truly to be seperations between us, at least level the playing field a little and admit you "believe" we evolved. Bones, and geology cannot be tested to 100 percent accuracy

And you are right, some books do teach that we did come from some sort of soup. That is where the religion comes in.

There is a post in this forum about Dr. Fox and his creation of the most basic forms of life. Sorry, but you'll have to find a new gap.

Again, macroevolution, as used by biologists, refers to evolution between species (i.e. a new species evolving from an old one). So, if you have two species of crocodile evolving from a single species, that is macroevolution.

As far as "kinds" go, since creationists can't define "kind" in a meaningful way, talking about evolution "within a kind" doesn't mean much.

Not really. The origin of life on Earth is based on empirical evidence and not simply faith. So right there, it cannot be considered a religious belief.

It's one thing to proclaim that it's false, it's quite a different creature to actually substantiate your claim. This would be why, IMO, you 'proclaim' it while completely failing to support your claim.

then if no creator then how can their be a creation? Even in your theory the Molecules Collided....wouldnt that in theory make the molecules the creator?

If you want to water down the usage of the word "believe" to the point where it doesnt' matter, sure I "believe" we evolved.

I also "believe" that gravity is responsible for keeping me on this planet, that France exists and makes good wine, and that the Earth goes around the Sun.

What's your point?

Evolution/abiogenesis does not attempt to disprove God.

I think you are confused. If you are referring to the Big Bang theory, I suggest you do some more reading on it: http://map.gsfc.nasa.gov/m_uni.html

And at the moment, nobody knows what "caused" the creation of the universe. Or even that it had a cause.

That makes the earth 935 at the time of Adams death...Correct?

Well then, I guess christianity isn't a religious belief either. There is empirical evidence supporting christianity as well.
