help--user options question

sorry about my posts being in this hard-to-read color. i was playing around with a new color yesterday while i was trying to figure out why my name had lost its glow (which, btw, came back as mysteriously as it left).

now today i can't even find a place on user options or user profile that asks what color font i want to use in my posts? where did that go? i know this color is hard to read, but i seem to be stuck with it for now.


edited to say i found out how to change the color. it now appears darker, as "purple."

thanks for the link, red. i see that it now costs blessings to change colors etc. i don't want to be a whiner, but the problem with that is: i don't know what a color is going to look like until i try it (like i did a couple days ago with "dark orchid" or whatever this is called). it's very difficult to read (not dark at all) so now i will have to spend MORE blessings to try another color (with no guarantee that it will readable either, unless i go with basic boring black).

is there anyway i can get a decent readable color with "paying" a bunch of blessings to find it?

I don't know about that.... But you don't have to "pay" for blessings.

oops, i meant to say "without" paying a bunch of blessings (ie using up a lot of blessings)

i just want to find a color that captures the real essence of me; not too flamboyant, yet not too dowdy. something timeless and classy, yet with just a subtle hint of trendy. i could spend all my blessings searching for the perfect color!
my oh my, this is harder than selecting the right ensemble and pair of shoes for my weekly date with mr kayanne. (he doesn't like it when those cost too much either)

whoo-hooo!! they do have a preview on it now! so i "tried on" several hues before deciding on this lovely, yet not too flashy, purple. what do you think? is it me??
