Help please...

I'm in a bit of a dilemna. In late June, after school let out, I watched "Kanon" - The 24 episode re-release from 2006-2007. After that I decided to try the other Key game released by Kyoto, "Air". That was a huge disappointment to me, because Kanon in my eyes in practically perfect. Air was reccommended to me.
But now I find myself in a rut. I enjoyed The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and I also enjoyed Kanon. But I just cannot seem to find any anime that intrigues me like they did. Do any of you know of one?
Just FYI, I'm not big into violence.

Out of the ones I'm keeping tabs on (but not got around to watching, so take this with a huge grain of salt), maybe:

Hidamari Sketch
Lucky Star
Nanatsuiro Drops

Now, I can tell immediately that those series are all very light-hearted, so if it's the depth of Kanon or Haruhi that you were asking about, then I think (again, huge grain of salt time) that those wouldn't be up to the task.

On the topic of Haruhi, though, it actually has been confirmed that it will be returning for a second season. I don't know how much to trust the assertion that it pushed the airing of Kyoto Animation's TV adaptation of CLANNAD (another Key game ) to Fall 2008, though.
