Such a simple faith. I miss it sometimes.

From what I read it's like a relationship gone sour or like changing your degree three quarters of the way through college and starting all over again. Either way all you can do is chalk it up to a learned experience. This is one of many faiths that has its share of faults. Having not taken up the faith, my outside advice would be that we can learn from it, teach others where the barbs are and do our best to move on. Shunning doesn't set well with me and I would be hard pressed to not be allowed to visit my friends or relatives. That, in itself, is inhumane, like kicking a dog to the curb.
