kid's -> singular possessive (states that only one kid possesses books)
kids' -> plural possessive (states that more than one kid possesses books)
It's just a technicality
. I tend to notice silly things like that, and I know others do too. Do what you want with this information. If it was me I'd put the cute little heart between the s and B.
