  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone! :wave:

Not sure what to do so I will share alittle bit about my self first. I am a stay at home mom of 2 wonderful busy kids. Hannah is 6 and Matthew is 5. I am trying my hand at homeschooling this year, so far its going pretty good. My hubby and I have just celebrated our 8th year anniversary this month. :clap: I have been a christian since I was 7. We go to a small church that was planted a few years ago. Its been really neat seeing it grow. I teach sunday school and am on the worship team. I love to cook, garden and read. I can easily get lost in a good book and only will come up for air. :blush: What else can I tell you? I am new to the forum so please bare with me while I learn the ropes. I have never doubted my faith that I can remember. I have been pretty low a few times and while down there I question God why. But I know that there is always something to learn in everything and that usually gets me through. And with God's help I pull through a stronger person and closer to Him. I hope that answers your question and no it didnt offend me. Actually it made me take a good look at my walk. :) Thanks and have a great day!!
