Hello, my name is John Bannister.

I've always been a deeply distrusting person. I never believe anything that I cannot see. If God cannot make himself very evident in my life I cannot believe. My mindset is brutally analytical and scientific, and I understand the core philosophies underlying the modern pursuit of truth. I reject utterly the false dichotomy of our history presented by the Secularists and the Religious. I believe in science, and rationalism, and scepticism, and the compare and contrast of testimony to derive the truth. That is what I trained myself in, from the earliest age, with a fascination with the universe. It is effectively the one thing I do. I research, I learn, and I study, everything, because I always wanted to know everything.

By the grace of God I now follow the Lord. I have seen the revelation written into the world.

I'm having real trouble finding ways to explain it to people. I can't find people willing to speak of it with me.
On one hand there are Religious people who hold to a strange derived view of the world that hides the truth, and on the other hand are the Secular people who insist on refusing to listen because they assume the Religious people to be holding no value of information.

I have seen the false dichotomy in science vs creationism, written in the spirit of truth, applying empathy to the human authors of the Bible, and taking the whole book into account instead of cherrypicking verses.
I've seen it in Flat vs Globe earth, where flat earthers misunderstand a very valuable 2D model of creation which meshes perfectly with our intuitive understanding of the world around us, because they know it is true, but the scientific community denies it utterly on the basis that it has been misunderstood and misrepresented.
I've seen it in Noah's flood, which is written in the book, and in the geology, and the histories of other nations, but the story is obscured on both sides because of biblical genealogies inserted by the Pharisees suggest 4500bc, when the actual date was 12,600bc.

It's everywhere. The whole world is screaming at each other over misconceptions about each other and it has driven to the point of absurdity. The history of the world is obscured in these false dichotomies.

Going to be honest and say wasn't the easiest post to follow but I do agree with one thing: And that is that science points to God as intelligent designs points to a creator. That creation only proves God's existence. People who write off creation as coming from an explosion put more faith in that theory than people put faith in believing in God.

What 2d model do we misunderstand

The basic old scientific one. Geocentric with the north pole at the centre, intuitively tracks the movements of the heavens from our perspective on earth.
The modern scientific model is exactly the same, it's just that same model rendered in 3D, and so rendered as a globe, instead of as a flat plane with an impassable south wall. They also shift the perspective away from Earth and onto the Sun. The 2D plane is around the outside of the 3D object, so the 2D model we used, and which has encoded a lot of our ancient knowledge, is still accurate for most observations.
The scientific community completely denies this fact, and presents the Heliocentric 3D model as a dichotomy to the 2D model which is a more intuitive view of reality to use for an individual human since we live on a 2D plane.
This false dichotomy has been redoubled by both sides, with each group totally rejecting the other. By this way the important information that is contained in the old geocentric models have been hidden from public view entirely, by both sides.

The flat earthers cannot even believe the evidence of their own eyes, because the manipulators are clever and know to use your faith in God against you. You write off everything they do, because you know they are trying to manipulate you, but they use that as a weapon too.

Jesus talks about the third way a lot, and I'm seeing he was right, especially for these times.

I picked skeptic because it is the only thing I could do. I accept Jesus Christ as my saviour, sent from the Lord, and I accept the other messengers He sent. I don't want to use "Christian" though because that implies that I do not believe the prophet Muhammed, or that I believe the Christian religious narrative about the contents of the Bible.

So are you a Geocentrist. What is the evidence of their own eyes.

There is no contradiction between Geocentrism and Heliocentrist, but I do think that Geocentrism is better for understanding how the universe appears from our perspective, as it is our perspective and not the sun's that we see from Earth.

Every photo and proof of space is obscured from you because you have correctly identified NASA as lying and manipulating; fish eye lenses on low altitude flight to force a globe, creating composite images of earth and then lying about it, getting caught faking segments of missions to make them look better on TV, etc.
However NASA is not magical and all powerful, and cannot run a dominant narrative. There is an entire world of honest people who have jumped on the study of the world, and it is that world of honest people who have been twisted around into a central lie to serve a specific group of people.
It's a twist of the truth until it becomes a lie, though the truth is still hidden in plain sight.

It's not a huge fabricated 100% fictional mass of photoshop extending way before the invention of convincing CGI, it's something that is 99% true but with a twist to try pull you to the wrong conclusions on certain things.
Understand that and it becomes apparent that the total rejection of all evidence contrary to your model (which is truth, but still a model. A representation) is done in religious dogma, not in the spirit of Truth as Jesus taught.

My advice would be to stop fighting the scientists and instead take everything they know and use it to figure out what has been going on. The Synagogue of Satan has a long history and it's all in the open to be seen, if you have the strength to look at everything, and not stay locked to a single perspective.

Do you believe the Bible to be inspired by God and inerrant?

I believe it to be the record of the history of Revelation of God, and the plan for humanity. I must make absolutely clear that I reject mainstream Christian interpretation of scripture, because my only authority is God.
The official narrative of the Bible, as presented by Christianity, is a mess of word games and wild assumptions which have crafted an unbelievable myth. Adherence to that Christian myth seems to be mandatory, even when talking to Atheists, who will insist on a specific way to read the Bible in order to make it into a mockery.
The Pharisees are known to have invented the genealogies that theologians use to calculate the age of the earth from the Bible. This fact was noted in the New Testament. The error is corrected, but the error is there. Some of the authors used poor quality grammar too, and some even wrote 'and and' sometimes instead of one 'and'.

The Bible is not Inerrant, and it's not 'Inspired'. It is the direct account from human beings from various cultures and levels of understanding, who were in contact with God. The history of their nations, the visions of Revelation, and the corrupting influence of a supremacist entity which has been the stumbling block since the very start, even at GobekliTepe.

As with everything the truth lies in between, and I will follow that narrow path.

Spent my life as a firm Atheistic Nihilistic. I suddenly came to God through a deeply personal undeniable experience, and as I prayed for wisdom and understanding, I figured out what the message in the Bible is. Understood. Islam has a great respect for Jesus Christ of Nazareth however His resurrection and Deity is rejected. Thanks for engaging!

If you can find a proper translation of the Quran ( Thomas Cleary did a direct translation, without the associated non-translations released in Religious translations) it is worth a read. It condemns Islam in its criticism of the battle between the Catholicism and Judaism, which are also correctly criticised. He also explains how extra books such as the Catholic canon and the Rabbinic Talmud twist and invert the messages of the prophets and try to steal it from people. He tries to prevent this happening to the Quran, but we all know that the Hadiths of Islam now lock the Revelation of Muhammed hidden behind a religion which acts opposite to its teachings.
Yet again, another example of inversion. Muhammed attempts to solidify his testimony by taking scientific knowledge into account and realising the nature of the Scriptures, and their history in relation to the stumbling block.
