Hey there, guys.

Here's a little into post to start off!

My family as a whole has been Christian. My father was Pentecostal and my mother baptist. Unfortunately, they did not share the message of Christ with me as strong as I would have wished. I am now 20 and have just made the first serious step to let Christ into my heart. My parents had both passed before my sixteenth birthday. My maternal grandparents took up raising me and my siblings.

I'm a student at my local community college and am now looking to join their Christian group there. I also work at my local gas station/store in the kitchen.

Currently, a male friend and I are seeking for a church to join. Preferably one with evening services as well as morning services to ensure I can make it in case of work.

I have yet to be baptized, obviously, but definitely plan to in the near future.

What I'm working on:
  • Daily scripture reading
  • Thanking God every morning
  • Saying grace
  • Being humble
  • Verse memorization
Thank you for having me. I hope to feel at home with this community soon!

Welcome @macaron! Starting a regular prayer and Bible routine is very important - and I definitely encourage you to continue pursuing baptism. Welcome home, from a fellow sister in Christ!

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or post here. [emoji4]

Hi; good to see you; God bless His Word to you. John chapter 3 is great passage to read, as is Ephesians 2. We don't deserve anything of God's blessing in Christ, but those passages show us that those who love and trust the Lord Jesus Who died in the place of sinners, are blessed anyway, regardless of their lack of worthiness.
