Hello. I'm new to this board. I'm a pediatric nurse near Chicago. Been here about 8 months, after moving from Texas. It's been a wild 8 months. i'd moved back to help my dad take care of my mom (dementia as a result of brain cancer radiation- had 3 other cancer sites as well). She died a few days after returning early from their winter 'escape' . I've started a new job (that is good- but the hours have been cut frequently due to low census), and have had some recurrent health problems. I'm a Christian (since I was 5 years old)- I haven't been to church much because of work hours and the health problems, but have been doing some reading/studying (need more!). I though I'd check out a few Christian forums to get some fellowship in, even when my hours are too weird for regular church, or I"m not feeling well enough to leave home. Hello to all!!
