  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

HI I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm sure most of my posts will be in this forum and I didn't see an intro forum. My name is Amanda I am a sahm to four kids. My oldest is Brandon he is 8, then Ashlie who is 4, Aidan is two and the baby is 6 months. WE just started attending a pentecoastal church, New Beginings. I used to go to a methodists church but my husband is in a progrma called Teen Challenge and that is the church they go to. I like it but miss my old church at the same time.
Well just wanted to intro myself since I ahve already posted a few times.

There actually is a place for intros, under the "Relaxation" section, there's a subforum for "new member intros". It was very confusing for me to find everything when I first joined, but I got used to it eventually and you should as well. Good luck and may the Lord bless you and your family! :)
