  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone. I'm Michelle and I'm 20(almost 21). I live in Michigan... I'm in college, studying accounting. I'm getting married this fall...
I just wandered over here pretty randomly, and I just want to hang out and chat. It seems being Mormon is not a popular thing around here, but, hopefully that won't get in the way. I really just want to chat and make some new e-friends. :cool:

What would I like to chat about... pretty much anything... Actually my main motive in signing up here was to find people with similar morals, since college life is kind of tough when you don't drink, sleep around etc..and good mormon forums are tough to find.... but I digress....

Yes. My fiance' Aaron served in the San Bernidino California Mission.

Nope. I was baptized when I was 19. (July 26th 2002) and am the only LDS in my family. Before that, my family was not active in any religion growing up.
