I said some bad things about God in the past, I also went into sin. Now I choose to follow Jesus and tried praying asking Jesus to reveal himself to me if he's real. But It feels like I'm not being heard. Is anyone out there?

Hello, and welcome.
Talk to God. He can hear you.
If you seek Him, He will be found by you. 2 Chronicles 15:2

You cannot force Jesus reveal himself to you yet, but id you truly believe in him and do his will you will know.

What have you read in the bible so far? How can I help?

Welcome and Blessings

Hello. I know there are instances of Jesus appearing to people in visions and dreams, but they are very rare. The more fundamental way to communicate with God is through scripture and prayer.

Hi! Welcome to CF

I can identify with this from years ago although my sins were different. I wasted about 10 years living in the wilderness, wanting back but not feeling accepted. Going to church, trying and trying for a couple months at a time to feel forgiven. Then giving up. Wanting back but thinking God had to call me back because me repenting wasn't working. I'd read my bible and spend days trying to earn what is freely given. Remember instead who God is. I had to stop relying on a feeling. Self condemnation might be blocking your faith. Look at the Father in the word. The parables too: the one of the prodigal son, the Good Shepherd and the lost coin Luke 15:1-32 . Pay attention to the delight in Heaven over a sinner who repents.

For me, it was when Jesus says 'Get up and walk'. That freed me from the blockage. I prayed and walked in His forgiveness. (Another verse, Matthew 9:5-6 , although I take it slightly out of context here, is where Jesus saud to the pharisees 'what is easier to say "your sins are forgiven or get up and walk". For me in that moment in time it was what of the two were easiest to believe/accept.)

You might find then the Lord's peace in your heart when you are walking in faith rather than listening to condemnation or unbelief.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Isaiah 55:1-5
John 3:16

John Wesley was almost in despair after a disasterous trip to America and loosing his dad. He did not have the faith to continue to preach. When death stared him in the face, he was fearful and found little comfort in his religion. To Peter Böhler, a Moravian friend, he confessed his growing misery and decision to give up the ministry. Böhler counseled otherwise. "Preach faith till you have it," he advised. "And then because you have it, you will preach faith." On May 24th, 1738 he opened his Bible at about five in the morning and came across these words, "There are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, even that ye should partakers of the divine nature." He read similar words in other places. That evening he reluctantly attended a meeting in Aldersgate. Someone read from Luther's Preface to the Epistle to Romans. About 8:45 p.m. "while he was describing the change which God works in the heart through faith in Christ, I felt my heart strangely warmed. I felt I did trust in Christ, Christ alone for salvation; and an assurance was given me that He had taken away my sins, even mine, and saved me from the law of sin and death."

From there he established a Holy Club within the established church in his area and from there experienced revival.
