I don't have anything especially interesting to tell about myself, so I'll just explain my username. It's the name of a fictional lake in one of my favorite novels, "Precious Bane" by Mary Webb, 1924. I love books written in the past when religion was an open part of everyday life for most people.

Welcome to CF. I hope you have great conversations and fellowship here. I have certainly found this site a great resource and a virtual home. That book sounds interesting. I have heard of The Golden Arrow, but never Precious Bane, and I can’t say I’ve read any of her writings, but if I get the chance I may look some of them up.
