  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I hope that I will hear from someone soon. I am loving this forum thus far. It is so good to get to meet new people in this forum. My hope is to go to heaven and not to end up in hell. I would love to hear from anyone on there views on heaven and hell. Do you believe in heaven and hell. The bible says in Galatians3:1 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not believe the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? Heaven, hell and earth are real places. Made by a real God. An interesting thing about hell that I learned recently is that hell was not made for people originally, but for Satan and the angels that fell with Lucifer.

I beleive that Hell is simply eternal seperation from God.

The reason I beleive this is because the traditional 'hell-fire and torture' version would make God a billion times worse than Hitler. I know for a fact that my God is NOT sadistic. If I thought he was and I continued to serve him then that would mean that I am condoning something far more horrible than the Holocaust.
