Hello Everyone

My name is Chris from NW Ohio, i came to this forum because I have not yet joined a church and still would like to talk to people that are from there. I feel I don't do enough in my life and would love ways to change this. I have been doing some community service i do feel better after this probably need to do more but hard going about it. Also I don't want to be afraid of death anymore how do i become so one with God that my fears will go away.

Hi; good to see you; God bless His Word to you; for the believer, John chapter 14 and Romans 8 are very encouraging passages; John's First Epistle has assurance for the believer as a major theme.

About how to become one with God, another member posted a similar question recently, and I suggested that one of the keys is growing closer to God by giving yourself to studying His word. The closer you get to God, the more your fears will dissipate (1 John 4:18).

But God bless! I'm sure if you stick around, you will meet some new friends who will be able to help you grow in your relationship with Christ, and strengthen your confidence in Him.

I understand the fear of death, don't worry about the feeling of dying as it may only take 30 seconds of your life.

Its good to fear God though, we should be preparing to meet Him at anytime.
