  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just wanted to start a thread to introduce myself. My name is Ashlie and I'm 18 years old. I'm expecting my first baby (a girl!) on November 27. This pregnancy has been really tough on me so I'm looking for other Christian women to talk to. I'm such a worrier about everything! So how is everyone else? Tell me about yourselves!

congrats!! I just had my fifth (third girl) two months ago. I see you are married, for how long? I was married at 21 and started having kids at 23. They say it's better to start having kids when you're young- I'm 29, exhausted and couldn't imagine having to do all this when I'm older, running after four toddlers.
November's not that far off- it WILL be here before you know it and you will be holding that precious little girl in your arms. I really miss being pregnant and still can't believe I'm not anymore and so now I'm left with the baby weight that my doctor said will be hard to get it off since I had twins.
Anyways, sorry to ramble so much. Best of luck to you!
