hello Creationist friends

Just thought I would stop in and say hello and let you know...
my husband of 26 years died suddenly and unexpectedly of cardiac arrest at the age of 50.
I believe he is present with the Lord.
I have 3 children... ages 22, 19 and 15.

God is carrying me...
but I would appreciate some hugs.

The way I look it:

Your husband finished all the required work at the University of Earth in 50 years. Very smart. He has a wonderful tenured job in a perfect environment now. And we are still taking more courses on the earth.

And, as the earthly wife of him, you will join him in the future as his best companion and helper in the Heaven. So, cheer up.

I am sorry for your loss. May God help you through these difficult times. I wish I had words to share, but I have not been through what you are going through, but my wife almost has. Life is a stuggle. Don't give up the fight.

My children pushed the limits on Friday night... I guess to test where the boundaries were...
God gave me the strength I needed to stand firm.

I believe people's prayers are holding me up... much in the same way that Aaron and Hur held up Moses' arms while he prayed so that Israel could prevail in battle.

I'm so sorry for your loss, nothing replaces that missing place in your life but we live in hope of the soon return of Christ and the redemption of the purchase price. The day is coming when He will dry away our tears and the former things will be remembered no more. We grieve, but not as those who are without hope. May the Lord draw near to you in this time of loss and grief and renew your strength through the hope of the resurrection, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

You have always been an encouragement to me so if all I can do is offer a hug... ... God be with you and I trust you will cherish the memory and continue to grow in peace and knowledge of the one who loved us and gave himself for us.

Losing the one you've shared your life with for longer than I've been alive... well... I have no idea how devastating that must be, and my heart goes out to you.

I can't pretend to understand the depth of your grief -- but I can and will pray for you and your kids. Our Father knows exactly what you need and will supply you from His riches. {{{{tons of brotherly hugs}}}}

It is normal for there to be good times and bad times - for the grief to come in waves. Hang in there and by His grace, you WILL get through this. Its also OK to be angry at our Father -- He's a big God and can take it -- all He asks for is honesty.

There are a number of great Christian groups that are set up to help in times like what you are going through -- I pray you have a solid support network nearby.

This morning, God encouraged me with this:
But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." ... For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 ESV

He reminded me that I need not fear because of the weaknesses I have. He will be strong through me, and it will go even better than if I had done it in my own flesh! The just shall LIVE by FAITH.
