My name is Don Zimmerman and I am living in Beaufort NC. I am a retired pastor with the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. I born in Gloversville NY but came to NC in 1963 at the age of 17. I have been married to Dawn Zimmerman from Harkers Island NC for 56 years (Aug 2, 1965) We have 4 boys of which 2 are deceased. 3 Grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren. I am a musician and play Guitar, 5 String Banjo, Bass, Dobro, and mess around on the Keyboard at times. Me and Dawn sing in church and I am a Sunday School Teacher. I have no formal education but had at one time over 1000 books including several commentaries and dictionaries and have studied diligently into certain points of doctrine using the laws of Hermeneutics. I enjoy discussing the bible with people that can do it with love and respect. I was impressed with the article on Hermeneutics and decided to join this forum of which this is the only one I have ever joined except for a couple of Facebook groups. I have my own Facebook group called "From the Heart". I have published several videos on YouTube (search for preetcherman) and Facebook trying to explain certain points of doctrine that I thought might be useful to our Christian Community.
