Hi everyone! I'm Christine, and I'm new here (obviously, hehe). I'm 23, and I first started investigating Christianity when I was 18 and in my first year of university. However, I have had a lot of bad experiences with Christians and it's driven me somewhat away from the whole thing.

I'd really like to return, get to know God, maybe truly accept Jesus into my life. But I'm finding myself really wary of the same thing that happened before happening again. I'm sure I was not without fault too, but it was a very difficult and lonely part of my life and I'd like not to repeat it if possible.

Anyway, I didn't mean for that to be as depressing as it was! I'm really just here to hopefully make some friends and learn quite a bit about Christianity. Looking forward to meeting everyone! :3

Welcome here friend. I just happen to know of some Christians gathered in a small assembly near Niagra Falls - USA (Middleport, NY I think). It is non-denominated and holds only to the Word of God. Let me know if such a fellowship would interest you.

Welcome is there any particular problems you are having with some Christians?

AllOrNothing, I've mainly had issues with feeling very judged and like I'm an outsider with a lot of Christians because I'm more socially liberal than most I've met. For a while I was letting that dictate my relationship with God because I was linking His acceptance of me with other Christians' acceptance of me. I'm trying to stop thinking like that now, though.
