I just wanted to drop in and say a word or two on a difficult subject. I have always been amazed at how some of my protestant brothers and sisters have been reared up to believe that Catholicism is another religion (at best!) than we "real" Christians (Lord forgive them). This was especially true in the area of the country I grew up in.
I find it incomprehensible that we Christians continue to find ways to treat our fellow Christians as if they belong to some cult. I wish that I could apologize for all the remarks that I'm sure you hear on these fora, but that would be meaningless.
What I can do is tell you that we are not all alike!!! Some of us actually welcome the opportunity to learn and fellowship with our Catholic sisters and brothers. Please be patient with those that are uninformed and pray for peace.

After several years of being part of another Forum site, and then a sudden anti-Catholic attitude started drifting in from the Admin, synicism started settling in on me.

Thank you for reminding my mind and heart that not all Christians think alike. Thanks for restoring some of my respect for other Christian denominations.
